     Elizabeth Foley was the daughter of Thomas Foley and Elizabeth Ashe.1 She married Sir Robert Harley, 1st Earl of Oxford, son of Sir Edward Harley and Abigail Stephens, on 14 May 1685. She died on 30 November 1691, from smallpox.1
     From 14 May 1685, her married name became Harley.1
