Dudley Charles Fitzgerald de Ros, 24th Baron de Ros was born on 11 March 1827. He was the son of William Lennox Lascelles Fitzgerald de Ros, 23rd Baron de Ros and Lady Georgiana Lennox. He married, firstly, Lady Elizabeth Grey Egerton, daughter of Thomas Grosvenor Egerton, 2nd Earl of Wilton and Lady Mary Margaret Stanley, on 12 October 1853. He married, secondly, Mary Geraldine Mahon, daughter of Sir William Vesey Ross Mahon, 4th Bt. and Jane King, on 14 January 1896 at London, England. He died on 29 April 1907 at age 80.
