     Caroline Alice Jane Leighton was the daughter of Reverend Francis Knyvett Leighton and Catherine St. Leger.2 She married Lt.-Col. Montague Cecil Broun on 5 January 1875.1 She and Lt.-Col. Montague Cecil Broun were divorced in 1892.1 She married Horace Charles George West, son of Rt. Hon. Sir Algernon Edward West and Mary Elizabeth Caroline Barrington, on 20 December 1893.1 She died on 19 November 1919.1
     From 5 January 1875, her married name became Broun. From 20 December 1893, her married name became West.1 She was married 2nd Horace Charles George West (d 2 Dec 1926), MVO, eldest s of Sir Algernon West, Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.) on 20 December 1893.1

     He was Major 15th Hussars.1

     Lt.-Gen. Francis Leighton was born in 1696.1 He was the son of Sir Edward Leighton, 1st Bt. and Jane Nicholl.2 He married Renea Pinfold, daughter of Colonel Charles Pinfold.1 He died in 1773.1
     He gained the rank of Colonel in the 32nd Foot.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Herefordshire.1

Charles Cathcart, 8th Lord Cathcart and Marion Shaw.1 She married, secondly, Jonathan Cope, son of Sir Jonathan Cope, 1st Bt. and Mary Jenkinson, on 26 January 1758.1
     Her married name became Cathcart.1 From 26 January 1758, her married name became Cope.1
