Starnes, daughter of Hon. Henry Starnes, on 26 December 1872. He and Eleanore C. A. Starnes were divorced in 1880. He married, secondly, Margaret Ann Answorth in 1883. He died on 6 February 1914 at age 63.

He and Iris Ryle were divorced on 6 May 1987 at Frankfurt-am-Main, Hessen, Germany. He married, thirdly, Beatrix von Eichel, daughter of Wolfram von Eichel and Eleonore Cainneci, on 13 February 1988 at Nidda, Germany.

She married Casimir-Johannes Ludwig Otto Prinz zu Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg, son of Otto-Konstantin Prinz zu Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg and Elizabeth Prinzessin zu Löwenstein-Wertheim-Freudenberg, on 21 April 1939. She and Casimir-Johannes Ludwig Otto Prinz zu Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg were divorced on 18 October 1949. She married Wilhlem-Ernst Baron von Cramm on 6 December 1950. She died on 23 June 1966 at age 51.
