     Margaret Humble was the daughter of W. F. Humble.1 She married, firstly, Frederick Brooks Close before 1894.1 She married, secondly, Christian Frederick Gordon, son of Colonel George Grant Gordon and Constance Augusta Lennox Peel, on 27 August 1894.1 She and Christian Frederick Gordon were divorced in 1901.1 She married, thirdly, Lord Granville Armyne Gordon, son of Charles Gordon, 10th Marquess of Huntly and Maria Antoinetta Pegus, in 1902.2 She died on 17 May 1920.1
     From before 1894, her married name became Close.1 From 27 August 1894, her married name became Gordon.

     Her married name became Gordon.

     Lt.-Col. Granville Cecil Douglas Gordon was born on 28 April 1883.1 He was the son of Lord Granville Armyne Gordon and Charlotte D'Olier Roe.1 He married Violet Ida Streatfeild, daughter of Gerard Streatfeild, on 20 April 1907.1 He died on 3 October 1930 at age 47.1
     Lt.-Col. Granville Cecil Douglas Gordon usually went by his middle name of Douglas.1 He fought in the Boer War.1 He gained the rank of officer in the Scots Guards.1 He was awarded the Order of the Nile.1 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)1 He was awarded the Croix de Guerre.1 He was awarded the Chevalier, Legion of Honour.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Welsh Guards.1 He was appointed Commander, Royal Victorian Order (C.V.O.) in 1918.1 He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He was appointed Officer, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (O.St.J.)1 He was Equerry to HRH The Duke of Connaught in 1921.1

Granville Cecil Douglas Gordon and Violet Ida Streatfeild.1 He married, firstly, Hon. Mary Pamela Berry, daughter of James Gomer Berry, 1st Viscount Kemsley and Mary Lilian Holmes, on 15 March 1941.1 He and Hon. Mary Pamela Berry were divorced in 1965.1 He married, secondly, Elizabeth Haworth Leigh, daughter of Lt.-Cdr. Frederick Haworth Leigh, in 1977.1 He died on 26 January 1987 at age 78 at Surrey, England.1,2

Granville Cecil Douglas Gordon and Violet Ida Streatfeild, on 15 March 1941.1 She and Douglas Charles Lindsey Gordon, 12th Marquess of Huntly were divorced in 1965.1 She died on 29 January 1998 at age 79.3
     Hon. Mary Pamela Berry usually went by her middle name of Pamela.1 From 15 March 1941, her married name became Gordon. After her marriage, Hon. Mary Pamela Berry was styled as Marchioness of Huntly on 15 March 1941.
