     Commander John Rodolf Perronet Thompson was the son of Maj.-Gen. Charles William Thompson.1 He married, firstly, Alice Travers, daughter of Robert Travers, on 4 February 1932.2 He married, secondly, Margaret Victoria Hemming, daughter of Frank Hemming, on 1 December 1954.1 He and Alice Travers were divorced.2 He died on 16 March 1965.1

     Henry Riversdale Grenfell was born on 5 April 1824.2 He was the son of Charles Pascoe Grenfell and Lady Georgiana Frances Molyneux.2 He married Alethea Louisa Maria Adeane, daughter of Henry John Adeane and Hon. Matilda Abigail Stanley, on 25 July 1867.1 He died on 11 September 1902 at age 78.1
     Henry Riversdale Grenfell held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Stoke-upon-Trent between 1862 and 1868.1 He held the office of Governor of the Bank of England in 1881.1 He lived at Bacras, Henley, Somerset, England.
