     Alexander Lauder of Haltoun was born before 1542. He was the son of William Lauder and Jean Cockburn. He married Annabel Bellenden, daughter of Sir John Bellenden of Auchnoul and Janet Seton, before 6 June 1599. He died before 1603.

     Reverend Adam Bothwell was born circa 1527.2 He was the son of Sir Francis Bothwell and Katherine Bellenden.1 He married Margaret Murray, daughter of John Murray of Touchadam and Janet Erskine.1 He died on 23 August 1593.2
     He held the office of Bishop of Orkney.1 He held the office of Extraordinary Lord of Session on 14 January 1563.2 He held the office of Ordinary Lord of Session on 13 November 1565.2
