     Ann Gouldsmith is the daughter of Sir Francis Gouldsmith and Catherine Oundley.1 She married, firstly, William Warren before 1622.1 She married, secondly, James Balfour, 2nd Lord Balfour, Baron of Glenawley, son of James Balfour, 1st Lord Balfour, Baron of Glenawley and Grisold Balfour, before 1623.1
      From before 1622, her married name became Warren.1 From before 1623, her married name became Balfour.1 As a result of her marriage, Ann Gouldsmith was styled as Lady Balfour on 18 October 1634.

     George St. John Brodrick, 2nd Earl of Midleton was born on 21 February 1888.1 He was the son of William St. John Freemantle Brodrick, 1st Earl of Midleton and Lady Hilda Charteris.1 He married, firstly, Margaret Rush, daughter of J. Rush, on 23 June 1917.1 He and Margaret Rush were divorced in 1925.1 He married, secondly, Guinevere Jeanne Sinclair, daughter of Alexander Sinclair, on 28 July 1925.1 He and Guinevere Jeanne Sinclair were divorced in 1975.1 He married, thirdly, Irene Creese on 24 April 1975.1 He died on 2 November 1979 at age 91.1
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.1 He was educated at Balliol College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.1 He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Surrey Yeomanry.1 He was Aide-de-Camp to GOC, Mediterranean Expeditionary Force in 1915.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Kent in 1936.1 He succeeded to the title of 10th Baron Brodrick of Midleton, co. Cork [I., 1715] on 13 February 1942.1 He succeeded to the title of 7th Baron Brodrick of Peper Harow, co. Surrey [G.B., 1796] on 13 February 1942.1 He succeeded to the title of 2nd Viscount Dunsford of Dunsford, co. Surrey [U.K., 1920] on 13 February 1942.1 He succeeded to the title of 2nd Earl Midleton [U.K., 1920] on 13 February 1942.1 He succeeded to the title of 10th Viscount Midleton of Midleton, co. Cork [I., 1717] on 13 February 1942.1 On his death, his earldom and associated viscountancy became extinct.1

     William Greville Worthington was born on 26 February 1903.2 He was the son of William Worthington Worthington and Lady Muriel Gladwys Finch.3,2 He married Lady Mary Diana Duncombe, daughter of Charles William Reginald Duncombe, 2nd Earl of Feversham of Ryedale and Lady Marjorie Blanche Eva Greville, on 31 May 1927.3 He and Lady Mary Diana Duncombe were divorced in 1942.4 He died on 19 March 1942 at age 39, shot after being challenged by a sentry, whom he did not hear.4
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve.1
