William Greville Worthington was the son of William Worthington. He married Lady Mary Diana Duncombe, daughter of Charles William Reginald Duncombe, 2nd Earl of Feversham of Ryedale and Lady Marjorie Blanche Eva Greville, on 31 May 1927. He and Lady Mary Diana Duncombe were divorced in 1942.2 He died on 19 March 1942, shot after being challenged by a sentry, whom he did not hear.2
