     Dorothea Charlotte Prinzessin von Brandenburg-Ansbach was born on 18 November 1661.1 She was the daughter of Albrecht Markgraf von Brandenburg-Ansbach and Sophie Margaret von Oettingen. She married Ernst Ludwig Landgraf von Hessen-Darmstadt, son of Ludwig VI Landgraf von Hessen-Darmstadt and Elisabeth Dorothea Prinzessin von Sachsen-Gotha, on 1 December 1687.1 She died on 15 November 1705 at age 43.1
     Dorothea Charlotte Prinzessin von Brandenburg-Ansbach was a member of the House of Hohenzollern. She gained the title of Prinzessin von Brandenburg-Ansbach in 1662.

     Charlotte Gräfin zu Hanau-Lichtenberg was born on 2 May 1700 at Buchsweiler. She was the daughter of Johann Reinhard III Fürst zu Hanau-Lichtenberg and Dorothea Friederike Prinzessin von Brandenburg-Ansbach.1 She married Ludwig VIII Landgraf von Hessen-Darmstadt, son of Ernst Ludwig Landgraf von Hessen-Darmstadt and Dorothea Charlotte Prinzessin von Brandenburg-Ansbach, on 5 April 1717 at Philippsruhe, Germany. She died on 1 July 1726 at age 26.
     Charlotte Gräfin zu Hanau-Lichtenberg gained the title of Gräfin zu Hanau-Lichtenberg.
