     Lucy Cecilia Gardner was the daughter of Cecil Dunn Gardner.2 She married, firstly, Robert Ashton, son of James Ashton and Frances Caroline Cheetham, on 17 February 1887.3 She married, secondly, Alfred Frederick George Beresford Lumley, 10th Earl of Scarbrough, son of Richard George Lumley, 9th Earl of Scarbrough and Frederica Mary Adeliza Drummond, on 8 April 1899.3 She died on 24 September 1931.3
     From 17 February 1887, her married name became Ashton.2 From 8 April 1899, her married name became Lumley. After her marriage, Lucy Cecilia Gardner was styled as Countess of Scarbrough on 8 April 1899. She was appointed Dame of Grace, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (D.G.St.J.)3

     Sir George Ogilvy, 4th Lord Banff was born on 4 August 1670 at Banff, Banffshire, ScotlandG.1 He was the son of Sir George Ogilvy, 3rd Lord Banff and Lady Jean Keith.1 He married Helen Lauder, daughter of Sir John Lauder of Fountainhall, 2nd Bt. and Marion Anderson, on 11 January 1712 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.1,2 He died before 12 January 1717/18.1
     He succeeded as the 4th Lord Banff [S., 1642] in November 1713.1 He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Ogilvie [S., 1627] in November 1713.1

Robert James, son of Walter Henry James, 2nd Baron Northbourne of Betteshanger and Edith Emeline Mary Lane, on 23 July 1923.4 She died on 26 October 2000 at age 99 at Yorkshire, North Riding, EnglandG.5,4

     Helen Lauder was born on 12 December 1689.2 She was the daughter of Sir John Lauder of Fountainhall, 2nd Bt. and Marion Anderson.1 She was baptised on 13 December 1689 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.2 She married, firstly, Sir George Ogilvy, 4th Lord Banff, son of Sir George Ogilvy, 3rd Lord Banff and Lady Jean Keith, on 11 January 1712 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.1,2 She married, secondly, Alexander Gordon on 27 June 1721.1 She married, thirdly, James Hay, son of James Hay and Margaret Gordon, after 1722.1 She died on 22 October 1742 at age 52.1
     From 11 January 1712, her married name became Ogilvy.1 After her marriage, Helen Lauder was styled as Baroness Banff in November 1713. From 27 June 1721, her married name became Gordon.1 From after 1722, her married name became Hay.1

     John Wilson Patten, 1st and last Baron Winmarleigh was born on 26 April 1802.3 He was the son of Thomas Wilson Patten and Elizabeth Hyde.1,3 John Wilson Patten, 1st and last Baron Winmarleigh filed for divorce from an unknown person at Magdalen College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG.3 He married Anna Maria Bold, daughter of Peter Patten Bold and Mary Parker, on 15 April 1828.3 He died on 11 July 1892 at age 90.3

     Katherine Isobel McEwen was born on 26 October 1899.2 She was the daughter of Robert Finnie McEwen of Marchmont and Bardrochat and Mary Frances Dundas.2 She married Lawrence Roger Lumley, 11th Earl of Scarbrough, son of Colonel Osbert Victor George Athling Lumley and Constance Ellinor Wilson Patten, on 12 July 1922.2 She died in 1979.2
     Her married name became Lumley. She held the office of Extra Lady of the Bedchamber to HM Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother.2 She was awarded the Kaisar-i-Hind Medal.2 She was appointed Dame of Grace, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (D.St.J.)2 She held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Durham in 1944.3 After her marriage, Katherine Isobel McEwen was styled as Countess of Scarbrough on 4 March 1945. She was Dame Commander, Royal Victorian Order (D.C.V.O.) in 1962.2

Catherine Anne Carrington Napier, on 20 July 1893.2 He died on 31 March 1926 at age 65.1
