Lt.-Col. William Burrard was born in 1712.2 He was the son of Paul Burrard and Lucy Dutton-Colt.1 He married, firstly, Elizabeth Jacinta de la Rosa (?) before 1743.2 He married, secondly, Mary Pearce, daughter of Dr. Joseph Pearce, before 1765.1 He died in November 1780.1
He was blind and crippled as a result of wounds received.2 He lived at Lymington, Hampshire, England.1
