     Lady Isabel Milles-Lade was born on 18 October 1920.3 She was the daughter of Hon. Henry Augustus Milles-Lade and Esther Benyon.1,4 She married Edward John Stanley, 18th Earl of Derby, son of Rt. Hon. Sir Edward Montagu Cavendish Stanley, Lord Stanley and Hon. Sibyl Louise Beatrix Cadogan, on 22 July 1948.1 She died in 1990.1
     On 17 July 1942 she was granted the style of an earl's daughter.3 After her marriage, Lady Isabel Milles-Lade was styled as Countess of Derby on 22 July 1948. From 22 July 1948, her married name became Stanley.

She married Oliver Brian Sanderson Poole, 1st Baron Poole, son of Donald Louis Poole and Therese Lillian Frodsham, on 6 September 1933.1 She and Oliver Brian Sanderson Poole, 1st Baron Poole were divorced in 1950.1 She died in 1988.1
     From 6 September 1933, her married name became Poole.1

     Sir Thomas Harvie Farquhar, 2nd Bt. was born on 27 June 1775 at Westminster, London, England.2,3 He was the son of Sir Walter Farquhar, 1st Bt. and Anne Stevenson.2 He married Sybella Martha Rockcliffe, daughter of Reverend Morton Rockcliffe, on 11 July 1809.2 He died on 12 January 1836 at age 60.2
     He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Farquhar [G.B., 1796] on 21 March 1819.2

     Lt.-Col. Hon. Frederick William Stanley was born on 27 May 1878.1 He was the son of Frederick Arthur Stanley, 16th Earl of Derby and Lady Constance Villiers.1 He married Lady Alexandra Louise Elizabeth Acheson, daughter of Archibald Brabazon Sparrow Acheson, 4th Earl of Gosford and Lady Louisa Augusta Beatrice Montagu, on 17 June 1905.1 He died on 9 August 1942 at age 64.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 10th Hussars.1 He fought in the Boer War between 1899 and 1902, where he was severely wounded.1 He gained the rank of Captain and Brevet Lieutenant-Colonel in the Lancashire Hussar Yeomanry.1 He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1917.1
