Alexander Fraser, 13th Lord Saltoun of Abernethy was born in 1684. He was the son of William Fraser, 12th Lord Saltoun of Abernethy and Margaret Sharp. He married Lady Mary Gordon, daughter of Sir George Gordon of Haddo, 1st Earl of Aberdeen and Anne Lockhart, on 26 October 1707. He died on 24 July 1748.
