Sir Edward George Chichester, 10th Bt. was born on 22 January 1883.1 He was the son of Rear-Admiral Sir Edward Chichester, 9th Bt. and Catharina Emma Whyte.2 He married, firstly, Phyllis Dorothy Compton, daughter of Henry Francis Compton and Dorothy Anne Musgrave, on 5 January 1915.1 He married, secondly, Hon. Moira Faith Lilian de Yarburgh-Bateson, daughter of Robert Wilfred de Yarburgh-Bateson, 3rd Baron Deramore of Belvior and Lucy Caroline Fife, on 5 June 1924.1 He and Phyllis Dorothy Compton were divorced in 1933.1 He and Hon. Moira Faith Lilian de Yarburgh-Bateson were divorced in 1935.1 He married, thirdly, Gladys Ethel Fordham, daughter of John Fordham, on 21 December 1935.1 He died on 26 September 1940 at age 57.1
