William Chetwynd, 4th Viscount Chetwynd of Bearhaven was born on 25 November 1721.1 He was the son of William Richard Chetwynd, 3rd Viscount Chetwynd of Bearhaven and Honora Baker.2 He was baptised on 21 December 1721 at St. Martin-in-the-Fields Church, Covent Garden, London, England.3 He married Susannah Cope, daughter of Sir Jonathan Cope, 1st Bt. and Mary Jenkinson, on 28 October 1751.1 He died on 12 November 1791 at age 69 at Donnybrook Green.3 He was buried at Christ Church, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.3 His will was probated in April 1792.3
