Johanna Hamilton was the daughter of John Hamilton, Master of Bargeny and Jean Sinclair.1 She married Sir Robert Dalrymple of Castleton, son of Hon. Sir Hew Dalrymple, 1st Bt. and Marion Hamilton, on 23 February 1707.
