Hon. Montague Abercromby was born on 25 May 1807.1 She was the daughter of George Abercromby, 2nd Baron Abercromby of Aboukir and Tullibody and Hon. Montague Dundas.2 She married Fox Maule-Ramsay, 11th Earl of Dalhousie, son of William Maule-Ramsay, 1st Lord Panmure and Patricia Heron Gordon, on 4 April 1831.1 She died on 11 November 1853 at age 46, without issue.1

George Abercromby, 2nd Baron Abercromby of Aboukir and Tullibody was born on 14 October 1770 at Tullibody, Clackmannanshire, Scotland.1 He was the son of Lt.-Gen. Sir Ralph Abercromby and Mary Anne Menzies, Baroness of Aboukir and Tullibody.1 He married Hon. Montague Dundas, daughter of Henry Dundas, 1st Viscount Melville and Elizabeth Rennie, on 20 January 1799 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.1 He died on 15 February 1843 at age 72 at Airthrey Castle.1,2 He was buried at Tullibody, Clackmannanshire, Scotland.1 His will (dated will dated 16 Dec 1841) was probated on 19 April 1843.1

(Whig) for Edinburgh between 1805 and 1806.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Whig) for Clackmannanshire between 1806 and 1807.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Whig) for Clackmannanshire between 1812 and 1815.1 He succeeded to the title of 2nd Baron Abercromby of Aboukir and Tullibody, co. Clackmannan [U.K., 1801] on 11 February 1821.1 He held the office of Lord-Lieutenant of Stirlingshire between 1837 and 1843.1

Janet Rochead was the daughter of Sir James Rochead.1 She married Hon. Sir David Dalrymple of Hailes, 1st Bt., son of James Dalrymple, 1st Viscount Stair and Margaret Ross, on 4 April 1691. She died on 26 December 1726.

She married John Hew North Gustav Henry Hamilton-Dalrymple, 11th Earl of Stair, son of John Hamilton Dalrymple, 10th Earl of Stair and Louisa Jane Henrietta Emily de Franquetot, on 10 April 1878. She and John Hew North Gustav Henry Hamilton-Dalrymple, 11th Earl of Stair were divorced in 1905. She died on 9 February 1946.
