Sir Rudolph Edgar Francis de Trafford, 5th Bt. was born on 31 August 1894.1 He is the son of Sir Humphrey Francis de Trafford, 3rd Bt. and Violet Alice Maud Franklin.1 He married, firstly, June Isabel Chaplin, daughter of Lt.-Col. Reginald Chaplin, on 6 February 1924.1 He and June Isabel Chaplin were divorced in 1938.1 He married, secondly, Katherine Lo Savio Balke, daughter of W. W. Balke, on 2 February 1939.1 He died in 1983.1
