     Colin Macdonald, 2nd of Boisdale was the son of Alexander 'Mor' Macdonald, 1st of Boisdale and Mary Macdonald.2 He married Margaret Campbell, daughter of Donald Campbell of Airds.3 He married Isabella Campbell, daughter of Robert Campbell.3 He died on 31 July 1800.3 He died in 1800 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.4
     He purchased Ulva, Mull.3
