Lt.-Col. Thomas Joseph Deane Bourke1

     Lt.-Col. Thomas Joseph Deane Bourke was born on 7 March 1815.1 He was the son of Reverend George Theobald Bourke and Augusta Georgiana Webster.1 He married Mary Willis, daughter of Venerable Robert Willis, in January 1849.1 He died on 28 February 1875 at age 59.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the service of the 34th Regiment.1

      From 24 April 1590, her married name became Macdonald.

     Flora Macleod is the daughter of John Macleod of Drynoch.2 She married Reginald Macdonell, 2nd of Scotus and 10th of Glengarry, son of Donald 'Gorm' Macdonald, 1st of Scotus and Mary Macdonald.1

Alastair Macdonell, 11th of Glengarry1

     Alastair Macdonell, 11th of Glengarry was the son of Reginald Macdonell, 2nd of Scotus and 10th of Glengarry and Flora Macleod.2 He married, firstly, Hon. Anne Fraser, daughter of Hugh Fraser, 8th Lord (Fraser of) Lovat and Anne Mackenzie.2 He married, secondly, Lady Mary Mackenzie, daughter of Kenneth Mackenzie, 3rd Earl of Seaforth and Isabel Mackenzie.2 He died on 28 October 1721.2
     He fought in the Battle of Sheriffmuir, where he roused the Macdonalds from dismay at the fall of the Captain of Clanranald, by springing forward, throwing his bonnet in the air, and crying 'Revenge! Revenge! Revenge today and mourning tomorrow,' these words firing the Macdonalds on to victory.2 He was created 1st Lord Macdonell [Jacobite] on 9 December 1716.1 Before 1720 he submitted to General Cadogan at Inverness.2
