     Hon. Frederick Forbes was born on 7 November 1776.1 He was the son of George Forbes, 5th Earl of Granard and Lady Georgiana Augusta Berkeley.1 He married Mary Butler, daughter of William Butler, in 1796.1 He and Mary Butler were divorced after 1796.1 He died on 2 February 1817 at age 40.1

     He was styled as Viscount Forbes.1 He held the office of Lord-Lieutenant of County Longford.1
