     Alexander Cowan McCorquodale was born on 10 March 1858.1 He was the son of George McCorquodale and Louisa Kate Honan.1 He married Maggie Janet Cox, daughter of Alexander Cox, in 1886.1 He died on 10 January 1941 at age 82.1
     Alexander Cowan McCorquodale held the office of High Sheriff of Shropshire in 1912.1 He lived at Cound Hall, Shropshire, England.
