He married Georgina Henrietta Emma Hanbury, daughter of Thomas Charles Hanbury, 2nd Baron Sudeley of Toddington and Emma Elizabeth Alicia Pennant, on 6 October 1859. He died on 1 January 1908 at age 77.

     Georgina Henrietta Emma Hanbury was born circa 1832 at Hanbury, Worcestershire, England.1 She was the daughter of Thomas Charles Hanbury, 2nd Baron Sudeley of Toddington and Emma Elizabeth Alicia Pennant. She married Captain Charles Henry Maude, son of Captain Francis Maude and Frances Brooking, on 6 October 1859. She died on 8 March 1921.
     Her married name became Maude.

     Captain Francis Maude was born on 17 November 1798. He was the son of Cornwallis Maude, 1st Viscount Hawarden and Anne Isabella Monck. He married Frances Brooking on 4 September 1827. He married Georgina Bushe, daughter of Gervase Parker Bushe and Eliza Latham, on 28 June 1849. He died on 23 October 1886 at age 87.
     Captain Francis Maude gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Royal Navy.
