     Colonel Patrick Thomas Salvin Bowlby was born on 31 August 1931.1 He was the son of Lt.-Col. Francis Edward Salvin Bowlby and Joan Catherine Trotter.1 He married Sara Norina Marie Stewart-Clark, daughter of Sir Stewart Stewart-Clark, 2nd Bt. and Jane Pamela Clarke, on 23 September 1961.2 He died on 27 June 2020 at age 88.3
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He was awarded the Territorial Decoration (T.D.)2

     Lt.-Col. John Trotter was born on 31 December 1913.1 He is the son of Colonel Algernon Richard Trotter, 12th of Mortonhall and 3rd of Charterhall and Lady Edith Mary Montgomerie.1 He married Yolande Joan Sophie Clarke, daughter of Brig.-Gen. Goland Vanholt Clarke, on 8 September 1945.1
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.1 He fought in the Second World War, where he was mentioned in dispatches twice.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Grenadier Guards.1 He gained the rank of commander in the Staffordshire Yeomanry.1 He lived in 2003 at The Wellnage, Duns, Berwickshire, Scotland.1

Thomas Trotter was born on 11 March 1908.1 He is the son of Colonel Algernon Richard Trotter, 12th of Mortonhall and 3rd of Charterhall and Lady Edith Mary Montgomerie.1 He married Joan Fisher-Rowe, daughter of Lt.-Col. Herbert Mayow Fisher-Rowe and Maud Seymour, on 18 September 1934.1 He died on 1 September 1963 at age 55.1

     Pamela Cynthia Maude was born in 1893.1 She was the daughter of Cyril Francis Maude and Winifred Emery.2 She married, firstly, Major William La Touche Congreve, V.C., son of General Sir Walter Norris Congreve, V.C. and Cecilia Henrietta Dolores La Touche, on 1 June 1916.1 She married, secondly, Brigadier Hon. William Fraser, son of Alexander William Frederick Fraser, 19th Lord Saltoun of Abernethy and Mary Helena Grattan-Bellew, on 22 December 1919.1 She died on 20 October 1975.1
     From 1 June 1916, her married name became Congreve. From 22 December 1919, her married name became Fraser.

     Major William La Touche Congreve, V.C. was born on 22 March 1891 at Burton, Cheshire, EnglandG.2 He was the son of General Sir Walter Norris Congreve, V.C. and Cecilia Henrietta Dolores La Touche.3 He married Pamela Cynthia Maude, daughter of Cyril Francis Maude and Winifred Emery, on 1 June 1916.4 He died on 20 July 1916 at age 25, killed in action.
     He fought in the First World War.4 He gained the rank of Brevet Major in the Rifle Brigade.2 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)4 He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)4 He was awarded the Victoria Cross (V.C.) on 26 October 1916, posthumously, for his actions on 6-20 July 1916.2

     General Sir Walter Norris Congreve, V.C. was born on 20 November 1862 at Chatham Barracks, Chatham, Kent, EnglandG.2 He was the son of Fanny Emma Townshend. He married Cecilia Henrietta Dolores La Touche, daughter of Charles Blount La Touche, in 1890. He died on 26 February 1927 at age 64 at MaltaG.2
     He fought in the Boer war.2 He was appointed Member, Royal Victorian Order (M.V.O.)2 He gained the rank of Captain in the Rifle Brigade.2 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.)2 He was awarded the Victoria Cross (V.C.) on 2 February 1900, for his actions on 15 December 1899.2 He held the office of Governor of Malta.

William Fraser was born on 5 July 1890.2 He is the son of Alexander William Frederick Fraser, 19th Lord Saltoun of Abernethy and Mary Helena Grattan-Bellew.2 He married Pamela Cynthia Maude, daughter of Cyril Francis Maude and Winifred Emery, on 22 December 1919.1 He died on 11 November 1964 at age 74.2

     Major Francis Walter Balfour was born on 8 January 1830.1 He was the son of Francis Balfour and Margaret Bower.1 He married Jane Amelia Keir, daughter of Patrick Small Keir, on 25 October 1866.1 He died on 24 February 1909 at age 79.1
