     Sir Henry Clinton, 2nd Earl of Lincoln was born in 1540.1 He was the son of Sir Edward Clinton, 1st Earl of Lincoln and Ursula Stourton.2 He married, firstly, Lady Catherine Hastings, daughter of Francis Hastings, 2nd Earl of Huntingdon, between 10 December 1555 and 30 April 1557.1 He married, secondly, Elizabeth Morrison, daughter of Sir Richard Morrison, after 20 October 1586.1 He died on 29 September 1616.1
     Sir Henry Clinton, 2nd Earl of Lincoln was also known as Henry Fiennes.1 He was invested as a Knight, Order of the Bath (K.B.) on 29 September 1553.3 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Lincolnshire in 1571.1 He succeeded to the title of 2nd Earl of Lincoln [E., 1572] on 16 January 1584/85.1 He succeeded to the title of 10th Lord Clinton [E., 1299] on 16 January 1584/85.1

     Lady Catherine Hastings is the daughter of Francis Hastings, 2nd Earl of Huntingdon.2 She married Sir Henry Clinton, 2nd Earl of Lincoln, son of Sir Edward Clinton, 1st Earl of Lincoln and Ursula Stourton, between 10 December 1555 and 30 April 1557.1 She died before 20 October 1586.1
     From between 10 December 1555 and 30 April 1557, her married name became Clinton.1

     Elizabeth Morrison was the daughter of Sir Richard Morrison.1 She married Sir Henry Clinton, 2nd Earl of Lincoln, son of Sir Edward Clinton, 1st Earl of Lincoln and Ursula Stourton, after 20 October 1586.1 She died circa 4 July 1611.1
     From after 20 October 1586, her married name became Clinton.1
