He married, firstly, Florence Grosvenor Rowley, daughter of Major George Rowley and Emily Isabella Honner, on 9 August 1872.1 He married, secondly, Blanche Elizabeth Adelaide Somerset, daughter of Henry Charles FitzRoy Somerset, 8th Duke of Beaufort and Lady Georgiana Charlotte Curzon, on 21 July 1874. He died on 23 October 1895 at age 51.
