     John Henry de la Poer Beresford, 5th Marquess of Waterford was born on 21 May 1844.1 He was the son of John de la Poer Beresford, 4th Marquess of Waterford and Christiana Leslie.1 He married, firstly, Florence Grosvenor Rowley, daughter of Major George Rowley and Emily Isabella Honner, on 9 August 1872.2 He married, secondly, Lady Blanche Elizabeth Adelaide Somerset, daughter of Henry Charles FitzRoy Somerset, 8th Duke of Beaufort and Lady Georgiana Charlotte Curzon, on 21 July 1874.1 He died on 23 October 1895 at age 51.1
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the 1st Life Guards.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) between 1865 and 1866.1 He succeeded as the 5th Baron Tyrone, of Haverfordwest, co. Pembroke [G.B., 1786] on 6 November 1866.1 He succeeded as the 9th Baronet Beresford, of Coleraine, co.      Lady Beatrice Eleanor Paget was born in 1883. She was the daughter of Lord Alexander Victor Paget and Hon. Hester Alice Stapleton-Cotton.1 She married Reginald Herbert, 15th Earl of Pembroke, son of Sidney Herbert, 14th Earl of Pembroke and Lady Beatrix Louisa Lambton, on 21 January 1904.1 She died on 8 February 1973.1
     Her married name became Herbert. After her marriage, Lady Beatrice Eleanor Paget was styled as Countess of Pembroke on 30 March 1913. She was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1919.1 She held the office of Mayor of Wilton between 1942 and 1946.1 She held the office of Mayor of Wilton in 1954.1

     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, EnglandG.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Sussex Yeomanry.1 He fought in the First World War.1 He was awarded the Officer, Order of the Crown of Italy.1

     From before 1912, her married name became Emery.1 Her married name became Anson.
