     William St. John was born on 1 August 1538.2 He is the son of John St. John and Elizabeth Whettle.1 He married Barbara Gore, daughter of Thomas Gore.2 He died on 18 April 1609 at age 70.2
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Stockbridge.2 He lived at Farley Chamberlayne, Hampshire, England.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Hampshire in 1588.2

     He held the office of Norroy King of Arms between 1603 and 1623.2 He was invested as a Knight in 1616.2 He held the office of Clarenceux King of Arms between 1623 and 1635.2
