     Thomas de Clifford, 8th Lord Clifford was born on 25 March 1414.1 He was the son of Sir John de Clifford, 7th Lord Clifford and Elizabeth Percy.1 He married Joan Dacre, daughter of Thomas Dacre, 6th Baron Dacre and Lady Philippe Neville, in March 1424.1 He died on 22 May 1455 at age 41 at St. Albans, Hertfordshire, England, killed in action.1 He was buried at Abbey Church, St. Albans, Hertfordshire, England.1
     Thomas de Clifford, 8th Lord Clifford succeeded to the title of 8th Lord Clifford [E., 1299] on 13 March 1421/22.1 He fought in the First Battle of St. Albans on 22 May 1455.1
