     Major George Sholto Douglas was born on 27 April 1858. He was the son of Admiral Hon. George Henry Douglas and Charlotte Martha Parker. He married Lady Laura Mary Wentworth-Fitzwilliam, daughter of William FitzWilliam, Viscount Milton and Laura Maria Theresa Beauclerk, on 30 April 1889. He died on 10 February 1916 at age 57.

     Rear-Admiral John Bourmaster Dickson was born on 29 April 1815.1 He was the son of Rear-Admiral Sir Archibald Collingwood Dickson, 2nd Bt. and Harriet Bourmaster.2,1 He married, firstly, Sarah Matilda Poynder, daughter of Thomas Poynder, on 19 June 1855.1 He married, secondly, Ellen Frampton, daughter of William Hamwood Frampton, on 4 August 1868.1 He died on 11 February 1876 at age 60.2
     Rear-Admiral John Bourmaster Dickson was invested as a Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.).1 He gained the rank of Rear-Admiral in the service of the Royal Navy.1
