     Kenneth Peter Lyle Mackay, 4th Earl of Inchcape was born on 23 January 1943.3 He is the son of Kenneth James William Mackay, 3rd Earl of Inchcape and Aline Thorn Pease.2,3 He married Georgina Nisbet, daughter of Sidney Cresswell Nisbet and Sarah (?), on 7 June 1966.3
     Kenneth Peter Lyle Mackay, 4th Earl of Inchcape usually went by his middle name of Peter.3 He was educated at Eton College, Eton, Berkshire, England.3 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the 9th/12th Royal Lancers.3 He was chairman of Duncan MacNeill Tea International and Glenapp Estate Company.3 He was chairman of Saracen Power Ltd.3 He was admitted to Royal Company of Archers.3 He succeeded to the title of 4th Viscount Inchcape, of Strathnaver, co. Sutherland [U.K., 1924] in 1994.2 He succeeded to the title of 4th Viscount Glenapp, of Strathnaver, co. Sutherland [U.K., 1929] in 1994.2 He succeeded to the title of 4th Earl of Inchcape [U.K., 1929] in 1994.2 He succeeded to the title of 4th Baron Inchcape, of Strathnaver, co. Sutherland [U.K., 1911] in 1994.2 He lived in 2003 at Manor Farm, Clyffe Pypard, Wiltshire, England.3
