     Reverend Patrick Boyle was born on 7 January 1717. He was the son of John Boyle, 2nd Earl of Glasgow and Helen Morison. He married, firstly, Agnes Mure, daughter of William Mure, on 14 August 1749. He married by contract, secondly, Elizabeth Dunlop, daughter of Alexander Dunlop, on 31 March 1763. He died on 26 February 1798 at age 81.
     Reverend Patrick Boyle lived at Irvine, Ayrshire, Scotland.

     Helen Morison was the daughter of William Morison. A contract for the marriage of Helen Morison and John Boyle, 2nd Earl of Glasgow was signed on 11 February 1707. She died on 7 July 1770.
     Her married name became Boyle.

     Rt. Hon. David Boyle was born on 26 July 1772. He was the son of Reverend Patrick Boyle and Elizabeth Dunlop. He married, firstly, Elizabeth Montgomerie, daughter of Alexander Montgomerie and Elizabeth Taylor, on 24 December 1804.1 He married, secondly, Catherine Campbell Smythe, daughter of David Smythe, on 17 July 1827. He died on 4 February 1853 at age 80.
     Rt. Hon. David Boyle has an extensive biographical entry in the Dictionary of National Biography.2

     Alexander Montgomerie was born on 24 May 1744.1 He was the son of Alexander Montgomerie and Lillias Montgomerie.2 He married Elizabeth Taylor, daughter of Dr. John Taylor, on 20 October 1784.1 He died on 8 July 1802 at age 58.1
