Walter Ogilvy, 1st Lord Ogilvy of Deskford was the son of Alexander Ogilvy and Barbara Ogilvy.2 He married Agnes Elphinstone, daughter of Robert Elphinstone, 3rd Lord Elphinstone and Margaret Drummond.3 He married, secondly, Mary Douglas, daughter of William Douglas, 6th Earl of Morton and Lady Agnes Leslie, in 1582.4 He died between 6 July 1625 and 14 February 1627.4

Lewis Gordon, 3rd Marquess of Huntly was the son of George Gordon, 2nd Marquess of Huntly and Lady Anne Campbell.2 He married Mary Grant, daughter of John Grant, 6th of Freuchie and Mary Ogilvy, in October 1644.1 He died in December 1653.3,4
