Elizabeth Ilive

     Elizabeth Ilive was the daughter of Reverend unknown Iliffe.1 She married George O'Brien Wyndham, 3rd Earl of Egremont, son of Charles Wyndham, 2nd Earl of Egremont and Hon. Alicia Maria Carpenter, on 16 July 1801.2 She died on 30 December 1822.2
     She was also known as Elizabeth Iliffe.2 As a result of her marriage, Elizabeth Ilive was styled as Countess of Egremont on 16 July 1801. From 16 July 1801, her married name became Wyndham.

General Sir Henry Wyndham

     General Sir Henry Wyndham was born illegitimately on 12 May 1790.1 He was the son of George O'Brien Wyndham, 3rd Earl of Egremont and Elizabeth Ilive.2 He married Elizabeth Somerset, daughter of General Lord Charles Henry Somerset and Hon. Elizabeth Courtenay.1 He died on 3 August 1860 at age 70, without issue.1
     He gained the rank of Ensign in 1806 in the service of the 1st Foot Guards.1 He was Aide-de-Camp to 1st Duke of Wellington in Portugal, includig the Battles of Rolica and Vimiero in 1808.1 He was with Sir John Moore's Staff on the Retreat to Corunna in 1809.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the 10th Hussars.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Coldstream Guards.1 He gained the rank of Major in 1811 in the service of the 8th Portuguese Cavalry.1 He gained the rank of Major in 1813 in the service of the 60th Regiment.1 He fought in the Battle of Waterloo in 1815.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.).1 He inherited the Cockermouth and Egremont estates in Cumberland.1 He was invested as a Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.).1

Colonel Charles Wyndham1

     Colonel Charles Wyndham was born illegitimately in 1796.2 He was the son of George O'Brien Wyndham, 3rd Earl of Egremont and Elizabeth Ilive.3 He married Hon. Elizabeth Anne Hepburne-Scott, daughter of Hugh Hepburne-Scott, 6th Lord Polwarth and Harriet Brühl, on 3 October 1835.3 He died on 18 February 1866.1
     He gained the rank of Cornet in 1811 in the service of the 7th Hussars.1 He gained the rank of Colonel.1 He lived at Rogate, Sussex, England.1

     Lady Elizabeth Wyndham was born circa 1803. She was the daughter of George O'Brien Wyndham, 3rd Earl of Egremont and Elizabeth Ilive.1 She died in 1803, in infancy.2

     William Livingstone, 3rd Viscount Kilsyth was born on 29 March 1650. He was the son of James Livingstone, 1st Viscount Kilsyth and Euphemia Cuningham. He married, secondly, Barbara Makdougall, daughter of Henry Makdougall, 14th of Makerstoun and Anne Scott.1 He married, firstly, Jean Cochrane, daughter of William Cochrane, Lord Cochrane and Lady Catherine Kennedy, circa 1692/93. He died on 12 January 1732/33 at age 82 at Rome, Italy.
     He gained the title of 3rd Viscount Kilsyth.

     Thomas Cochrane was born after 1661. He was the son of William Cochrane, Lord Cochrane and Lady Catherine Kennedy.1 He married Diana Cuningham, daughter of Sir David Cuningham of Robertland, 4th Bt. and Lady Elizabeth Hamilton.1 He died before 4 October 1694, without issue.1
     He lived at Polkelie, Ayrshire, Scotland.1
