     Rt. Rev. Algernon Charles Stanley was born on 16 September 1843.1 He was the son of Edward John Stanley, 2nd Baron Stanley of Alderley and Hon. Henrietta Maria Dillon-Lee. He died on 23 April 1928 at age 84.1
     He graduated in 1903 with a Master of Arts (M.A.) Cantab, Bp Emmaus , Assist Pontifical Throne, Canon St Peter's Rome.1 He held the office of Bishop of Emmanus between 1903 and 1928.

     Helena Madeline Mary Allhusen was born on 17 May 1897. She was the daughter of Augustus Henry Eden Allhusen and Osma Mary Dorothy Stanley. She married, firstly, Lt.-Cdr. Sir Geoffrey Cecil Congreve, 1st Bt., son of General Sir Walter Norris Congreve, V.C. and Cecilia Henrietta Dolores La Touche, on 14 October 1922. She married, secondly, Reginald James Tyler Stewart Mackenzie on 21 October 1942. She died in 1982 at Chichester, Sussex, EnglandG.1
     From 14 October 1922, her married name became Congreve. Her married name became Mackenzie.

He married Helena Madeline Mary Allhusen, daughter of Augustus Henry Eden Allhusen and Osma Mary Dorothy Stanley, on 14 October 1922. He died in 1941.
     He gained the title of 1st Baronet Congreve.

     He fought in the Second World War.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Engineers.1
