     Marygold Elizabeth Congreve was born on 14 August 1926. She was the daughter of Lt.-Cdr. Sir Geoffrey Cecil Congreve, 1st Bt. and Helena Madeline Mary Allhusen. She married Major Ian Stafford Alexander on 5 May 1953. She died on 27 May 2007 at age 80 at St. Luke's Hospital, Malta.¹
      Her married name became Alexander.

     Carola Congreve was born on 17 February 1929. She is the daughter of Lt.-Cdr. Sir Geoffrey Cecil Congreve, 1st Bt. and Helena Madeline Mary Allhusen. She married John Horatio Gordon Shephard, son of Harold Shephard, on 29 June 1948. She and John Horatio Gordon Shephard were divorced in 1959.
      Her married name became Shephard.

     John Horatio Gordon Shephard is the son of Harold Shephard.¹ He married Carola Congreve, daughter of Lt.-Cdr. Sir Geoffrey Cecil Congreve, 1st Bt. and Helena Madeline Mary Allhusen, on 29 June 1948. He and Carola Congreve were divorced in 1959. He married Belinda Anne Renwick, daughter of Robert Burnham Renwick, 1st Baron Renwick and Dorothy Mary Parkes, on 19 March 1959.² He died in 1993.²
      John Horatio Gordon Shephard also went by the nick-name of Rae.³

     Dorothea Elizabeth Allhusen was born on 4 September 1903. She was the daughter of Augustus Henry Eden Allhusen and Osma Mary Dorothy Stanley. She died on 29 January 1926 at age 22.

     Arthur Lyulph Stanley, 5th Baron Sheffield was born on 14 September 1875.¹ He was the son of Edward Lyulph Stanley, 4th Baron Sheffield and Mary Katherine Bell. He married Margaret Evelyn Gordon, daughter of Henry Evans Gordon, on 29 August 1905.¹ He died on 22 August 1931 at age 55, had:.¹
     He was Captain Anglesey Royal Engineers Militia Bower –1901 and Cheshire Yeo, barrister Inner Temple 1902, memb LCC Lewisham 1904, Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Lib) Eddisbury (Cheshire) 1906–10, PPS to PMG 1906–10, Private Sec Office Woods and Forests 19 War 1899.¹ He was Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) Anglesey and Cheshire.¹ He graduated with a Eton and Balliol College Oxford Master of Arts (M.A.).¹ 5th Baron Sheffield of Roscommon (under which single title he was known in his lifetime) and 5th Baron Stanley of Alderley.¹ He gained the title of 5th Baron Sheffield. He was Knight Commander, Order of St. Michael and St. George (K.C.M.G.) in 1914.¹

     Mary Katherine Bell was the daughter of Sir Isaac Lowthian Bell, 1st Bt. and Margaret Pattinson. She married Edward Lyulph Stanley, 4th Baron Sheffield, son of Edward John Stanley, 2nd Baron Stanley of Alderley and Hon. Henrietta Maria Dillon-Lee, on 6 February 1873.¹ She died on 4 January 1929.
      Her married name became Stanley. She was Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) (d 4 Jan 1929), in 1920.¹

     Lt.-Col. Hon. Oliver Hugh Stanley was born on 23 October 1879.² He was the son of Edward Lyulph Stanley, 4th Baron Sheffield and Mary Katherine Bell. He married Lady Alice Kathleen Violet Thynne, daughter of Thomas Henry Thynne, 5th Marquess of Bath and Violet Caroline Mordaunt, on 8 July 1919.¹ He died on 13 February 1952 at age 72.²
     He was Lieutenant-Colonel Res Offrs RA, Boer –1902, WW I (despatches thrice, Croix de Guerre) War 1899.² He was Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) Anglesey.² He was educated Clifton.² He was Justice of the Peace (J.P.).² He was decorated with the award of the Companion, Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1918.¹

     Edward Lyulph Stanley, 4th Baron Sheffield was born on 16 May 1839.¹ He was the son of Edward John Stanley, 2nd Baron Stanley of Alderley and Hon. Henrietta Maria Dillon-Lee. He married Mary Katherine Bell, daughter of Sir Isaac Lowthian Bell, 1st Bt. and Margaret Pattinson, on 6 February 1873.¹ He died on 18 March 1925 at age 85.
     He was educated Fell 1862 Eton and Balliol College Oxford (–69).¹ 4th Baron of Stanley of Alderley and 4th Baron Sheffield of Roscommon.¹ He was barrister Inner Temple , Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Lib) Oldham 1880–85, V-Chm London Sch Board 1897–1904, author: Our National Education (1899) in 1865.¹ In 1909 as which succeeded 2nd cousin.¹ He was Privy Counsellor (P.C.) in 1910.¹ He gained the title of 4th Baron Sheffield.

     Margaret Evelyn Gordon was the daughter of Henry Evans Gordon. She married Arthur Lyulph Stanley, 5th Baron Sheffield, son of Edward Lyulph Stanley, 4th Baron Sheffield and Mary Katherine Bell, on 29 August 1905.¹ She died on 12 April 1964.
      Her married name became Stanley. She was Officer, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (O.St.J.) (d ), on 12 April 1964.¹
