Dorothy Bray was born circa 1530.1 She was the daughter of Edmund Bray, 1st Lord Braye and Jane Halliwell.2 She married, firstly, Sir Edmund Brydges, 2nd Baron Chandos of Sudeley, son of Sir John Brydges, 1st Baron Chandos of Sudeley and Elizabeth Grey, circa 1548.2 She married, secondly, Sir William Knollys, 1st Earl of Banbury, son of Sir Francis Knollys and Katherine Carey, before 1573.2 She died on 31 October 1605 at Minty.2 She was buried at Rotherfield Greys, Oxfordshire, England.2
From circa 1548, her married name became Brydges.2 As a result of her marriage, Dorothy Bray was styled as Baroness Chandos of Sudeley on 12 April 1557. From before 1573, her married name became Knollys.2 As a result of her marriage, Dorothy Bray was styled as Baroness Knollys of Greys on 13 May 1603.

Sir Arthur Pendarves Vivian was born on 4 June 1834. He was the son of Major John Henry Vivian and Sarah Jones. He married, firstly, Lady Augusta Emily Wyndham-Quin, daughter of Sir Edwin Richard Wyndham-Quin, 3rd Earl of Dunraven and Mount-Earl and Augusta Gould, on 3 March 1867.1 He married, secondly, Lady Jane Georgina Dalrymple, daughter of John Hamilton Dalrymple, 10th Earl of Stair and Louisa Jane Henrietta Emily de Franquetot, on 10 March 1880. He died on 18 August 1926 at age 92.1
