     Shreela Rai, Baroness Flather was born on 13 February 1934.2 She was the daughter of Rai Bahadur Aftab Rai and Krishna Rai.3 She married Paul de Bernier in 1952.2 She and Paul de Bernier were divorced before 1963.2 She married, secondly, Gary Denis Flather, son of Denis Flather and Joan Ada Walker, in 1966.3 She died on 6 December 2024 at age 90.2
     From 1952, her married name became de Bernier.2 She graduated from University College London, London, EnglandG, with a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.)3 She was admitted to Inner Temple in 1962 entitled to practise as a barirster.3 From 1966, her married name became Flather.1 She was an infant teacher between 1967 and 1968.3 She held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Maidenhead in 1971.3 She was created Baroness Flather, of Windsor and Maidenhead in the Royal County of Berkshire [U.K. Life Peer] on 11 June 1990.1 She held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Berkshire in 1994.3

     He gained the title of Jarl of Orkney. He succeeded as the 7th Earl of Caithness [S., 1030] in 1206.2

     Gormlath MacHeth is the daughter of Malcolm MacHeth, 1st Earl of Ross.1 She married Harald Maddadson, Jarl of Orkney, son of Madach, 1st Earl of Atholl and Margaret of Orkney.1
     She was also known as Hvarflod MacHeth.1

     Malcolm MacHeth, 1st Earl of Ross was born between 1105 and 1115 illegitimately.2 He was the son of Alexander 'the Fierce', King of Scotland. He died in 1168.2
     He gained the title of Mormaer of Moray. He gained the title of 1st Earl of Ross.1

John Haraldssen, Jarl of Orkney

     John Haraldssen, Jarl of Orkney was the son of Harald Maddadson, Jarl of Orkney and Gormlath MacHeth.1 He died in 1231, without male issue, murdered by his servants in revenge for his supposed implication in the murder of the Bishop of Caithness.2
     He gained the title of Jarl of Orkney. He succeeded as the 8th Earl of Caithness [S., 1030] in 1214, jointly.2 In 1222 Adam, the Bishop of Caithness was assaulted in his episcopal residence at Halkirk and burned to death 'in his presence, but apparently wthout his consent,' after a dispute about tithes.3 His territory was confiscated by King Alexander II of Scotland for his unlawful killing of the Bishop of Caithness, although restored on John’s payment of a huge fine.2

     Lady Emily Caroline Paget was born circa 1810.1 She was the daughter of Field Marshal Henry William Paget, 1st Marquess of Anglesey and Lady Charlotte Cadogan.1 She married John Robert Townshend, 1st and last Earl Sydney, son of John Thomas Townshend, 2nd Viscount Sydney of St. Leonards and Lady Caroline Elizabeth Letitia Clements, on 4 August 1832.1 She died on 6 March 1893.1
     After her marriage, Lady Emily Caroline Paget was styled as Viscountess Sydney of St. Leonards on 4 August 1832. From 4 August 1832, her married name became Townshend.1 After her marriage, Lady Emily Caroline Paget was styled as Countess Sydney on 27 February 1874.

     Catherine Tattershall was the daughter of George Tattershall.1 She married, firstly, Sir Richard Lichford before 1672.1 She married, secondly, Bernard Howard, son of Henry Frederick Howard, 22nd Earl of Arundel and Lady Elizabeth Stuart, on 16 June 1672.1 She died on 8 April 1727.1
     From before 1672, her married name became Lichford.1 Her married name became Howard.
