Sir William Smijth, 7th Bt. was born on 23 April 1746 at Shrewsbury, Shropshire, England.1 He was the son of Rev. Sir William Smyth, 6th Bt. and Abigail Wood.1 He married Anne Windham, daughter of John Windham-Bowyer and Mary Windham, on 22 March 1779 at St. George's Church, St. George Street, Hanover Square, London, England.1 He died on 1 May 1823 at age 77.1 He was buried at Theydon Mount, Essex, England.1 His will (dated 26 March 1816 to 4 May 1821) was probated on 6 June 1823.1

Sir John Ashfield, 1st Bt. was born circa 1597.1 He was the son of Sir Robert Ashfield and Anne Tasburgh.1 He and Elizabeth Sutton obtained a marriage license on 30 April 1627 at London, England.1 He died in 1635.1 He died intestate and his estate was administered on 30 November 1638 at St. Botolph, Aldergate, London, England.1

Sir Ralph Assheton, 1st Bt. was born circa 1581.2 He was the son of Ralph Assheton and Johanna Radclyffe.1 He married, firstly, Dorothy Bellingham, daughter of Sir James Bellingham and Agnes Curwen, circa 19 August 1604.2 He married, secondly, Eleanor Shuttleworth, daughter of Thomas Shuttleworth and Anne Lever, in April 1610.2 He died circa October 1644.1 He was buried on 18 October 1644 at Whalley Abbey, Lancashire, England.2
