Robert Craigie is the daughter of David Craigie of Dumbarnie.1 She married Joseph Bell of Blackethouse, son of Benjamin Bell of Blackethouse and Grizel Hamilton, on 20 June 1809.1

Sir George Clerk of Penicuik, 4th Bt. was born after 1710.3 He was the son of Sir John Clerk of Penicuik, 2nd Bt. and Janet Inglis.2 He married Dorothea Clerk-Maxwell, daughter of William Clerk-Maxwell and Agnes Maxwell.4 He died on 29 January 1784.4 He died intestate and his estate was administered in April 1796.3
Sir George Clerk of Penicuik, 4th Bt. was Lord Treasurer's Remembrancer of the Exchequer.4 He was a Commissioner of Customs.4 He was a trustee for the improvement of fisheries and manufactures of Scotland.4 He succeeded to the title of 4th Baronet Clerk, of Penicuik, Edinburgh [N.S., 1679] on 6 February 1782.4 He also had four daughters.4
