     Frances Alice Hampton was born in 1856 at County Armagh, Ireland.2,3 She was the daughter of Henry Hampton and Sarah Jane Mullen.1 She married Benjamin Hampton, son of John Hampton and Jane Gray, on 25 January 1877 at St. Michaels Church, Christchurch, New Zealand.4,2 She died on 14 December 1932.3 She was buried at Ellesmere Public Cemetery, Ellesmere, Canterbury, New Zealand, plot 674.3
     Frances and Dudley Hampton immigrated to Lyttelton, Canterbury, New Zealand on the ship Otaki, arriving on 8 February 1876.5

     Joseph Henry Hampton was born in 1860 at Kilmore, County Armagh, Ireland.2 He was the son of Henry Hampton and Sarah Jane Mullen.1 He married Mary Troughton on 12 November 1886 at St. Saviours Parish Church, Richhill, Kilmore, County Armagh, Ireland.2 He died on 13 April 1933.3,4 He was buried at Ellesmere Public Cemetery, Ellesmere, Canterbury, New Zealand, plot 739.4
     He was a coachman at Colonel Johnson's estate, Kilmore, County Armagh, Ireland.2 He was a farmer at McMahans Lane, Kilmore, County Armagh, Ireland.2 Joseph and Mary Troughton immigrated to Lyttelton, Canterbury, New Zealand on the ship Corinthic, arriving on 26 December 1909.2 He was a foreman with the Southbridge Town Board after 1910 at Southbridge, Canterbury, New Zealand.2 He was a farmer in 1915 at Gambles Estate, Little Rakaia, Canterbury, New Zealand.2

      From 6 March 1888, her married name became Hampton.1 She was a farm assistant in 1922 at Moreland Station, New Zealand.3
