Catherine Sarah Dorothea Pakenham, on 18 April 1839 at St. George's Church, St. George Street, Hanover Square, London, England.¹ She died on 13 August 1904 at age 83 at Bearhill Park, Walton-on-Thames, Surrey, England.¹ She was buried on 19 August 1904 at Stratfield Saye House, Basingstoke, Hampshire, England.¹ Her will was probated on 8 September 1904, at over £13,000 gross, over £10,000 net.¹
     From 18 April 1839, her married name became Wellesley. She held the office of Lady of the Bedchamber between 1843 and 1858.¹ As a result of her marriage, Lady Elizabeth Hay was styled as Duchess of Wellington on 14 September 1852.¹ She held the office of Mistress of the Robes between 1861 and 1868.¹ She was invested as a Lady, Royal Order of Victoria and Albert (V.A.) in 1892 3rd class.¹

     Colonel Hon. Frederick Arthur Wellesley was born on 24 May 1844.³ He was the son of Henry Richard Charles Wellesley, 1st Earl Cowley and Hon. Olivia Cecilia FitzGerald-de Ros.^2,1 He married, firstly, Emma Anne Caroline Bloomfield Loftus, daughter of Rt. Hon. Lord Augustus William Frederick Spencer Loftus and Emma Maria Greville, on 15 December 1873.² He and Emma Anne Caroline Bloomfield Loftus were divorced in 1882.² He married, secondly, Catherine Candelin on 3 June 1884.² He and Catherine Candelin were divorced in 1897.² He married, thirdly, Evelyn Katrine Gwenfra Williams, daughter of Lt.-Col. Thomas Peers Williams and Emily Bacon, in 1904.² He died on 9 February 1931 at age 86.¹
     Colonel Hon. Frederick Arthur Wellesley gained the rank of Colonel in the service of the Coldstream Guards.¹ He held the office of First Secretary to Vienna.² He held the office of Military Attaché at St. Petersburg.²

     Llewelyn Arthur Rhys was born on 8 June 1935.² He was the son of Captain Hon. David Reginald Rhys and Lady Anne Maud Wellesley, Duquesa de Ciudad Rodrigo.¹ He married Rosemary Martha Ann Sellers, daughter of Rev. Canon Robert Victor Sellers, on 23 September 1961.² He died on 7 July 2005 at age 70.³
     Llewelyn Arthur Rhys was educated Eton.² He was educated at Eton College, Eton, Berkshire, England.² He lived in 2003 at Hilliers, Bucklebury Common, Reading, Berks.²

     Elizabeth Maud Rhys was born on 14 August 1937.² She was the daughter of Captain Hon. David Reginald Rhys and Lady Anne Maud Wellesley, Duquesa de Ciudad Rodrigo.¹ She married Peter Matthew Doran, son of Patrick Doran, on 10 February 1966.² She died in 2001.³
